Fan’s of the Prime Video series Undone now have a release date for Season 2. It was announced at this year’s SXSW Festival that Undone Season 2 will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on Friday, April 29, 2022.

A first look at the series return was released during a panel at the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX. Undone tells the story of Alma (Rosa Salazar), a 28-year-old living in San Antonio, Texas with her mother Camila (Constance Marie) and sister Becca (Angelique Cabral). After Alma nearly dies in a car accident, she develops a new and unique relationship with time itself. She uses her newfound ability to try to find out the truth about her father Jacob’s (Bob Odenkirk) death.

Salazar will be returning for the show’s second season in her starring role. In Season 2, she will explore more profound mysteries of her family’s past. As Alma and Becca delve deeper into the uncomfortable truths that lie in their family’s history. They will explore healing and trauma and how their lives continue to be impacted by the complexities of the past. 

Undone was the first episodic television project to use rotoscope animation to bring its story to life. Series creators also make use of a variety of artistic media, including oil painting on canvas to create a multitude of backgrounds for the series.

There are currently no details regarding the number of episodes in the upcoming second season. Hisko Hulsing serves as the series director and production designer. Rosa Salazar and Bob Odenkirk serve as producers of the series. Undone is produced in partnership with Amazon Studios and Tornante Productions.
